Super Bowl Sunday is tomorrow, and I’ve noticed that when it comes to the big game day, women seem to be divided into two camps: those who do, and those who don’t. (Watch it, that is). 

I fall into the watcher camp, because not only do I like football, but this year, my hometown team, Arizona, is actually in it! But even if you are a gal who doesn’t like football, there are some great reasons for you to love the Super Bowl, and tune in tomorrow. Here are my top 10 reasons for chicks to dig the Super Bowl:

1. Arizona Cardinals quarterback, Kurt Warner, and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger are both hot.

2. Ben is one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the league, whose career was threatened a couple years ago after a motorcycle accident. What woman doesn’t like a comeback kid story?

3. The  Super Bowl offers a free pass to cheat on your diet-day! SuperBowl Sunday usually offers up some of the best party foods and drinks ever! And it’s also a day to cheat without feeling guilty, because it is just expected that everyone, including you, will be eating and drinking a lot of high caloric foods!

4. Super Bowl ads are always the best! Some companies are even airing 3D commercials this year. 

5. Because of the economic crisis, it will be interesting to see who plunks down the big bucks (3 mil) for a commercial. Many companies who traditionally advertise during the Super Bowl, have opted out this year.

6. GoDaddy.com always advertises with highly sexualized, steamy ads, but this year gets even steamier with a naked girls in shower-themed ad. Go Daddy bought a second ad as well, and both will be teasers for the more risque online ads.

7. Exciting competition is a great distraction from the hard economic times everyone is going through!

8. Bruce Springsteen is the half time entertainment! (No snarky comments if you don’t share my love for him, ladies!)

9. There are lots of party options on Super Bowl Sunday, and any party you go to will be filled with high energy, impassioned, spirited people, and on any day that spells FUN!

10. You can partake in low risk gambling, which allows you to have some “skin in the game” to make it more interesting, and you have a chance to win some money! Think: new shoes, new purse, etc.

Bonus Reason: If you don’t have a man, Super Bowl parties are a great place to meet men! One of the best long term relationships I’ve ever had, started on a Super Bowl Sunday at a Super Bowl party! And if you already have a man, Super Bowl Sunday means you see him at his sexiest. (Unless he’s a sloppy drunk when he drinks, and in that case, Sunday is your movie and spa day!)

Super Bowl makes most guys impassioned and energetic, which translates to sexy. Plus, after watching two teams score for three hours, he’ll have scoring on his mind, and the word touchdown takes on a whole new meaning! Lucky you.

The great thing is, If your guy’s team wins, he’ll be happy and want some post-game celebratory action (wink) and if his team loses, he’ll be bummed, and in need of post-game cheering up (wink wink). Either way, you are his teammate for both scenarios and it’s a win -win!

The way I see it, Super Bowl brings out the best of everything - best teams, best players, best food, best commercials, best friends, best family, best spirited attitudes. Next to Valentine’s Day, it really can be a woman’s favorite day in February!
